Williams Lea Company Benefits (UK permanent & fixed term employees)
Life Assurance
All Williams Lea UK, employees are automatically covered for Life Assurance, currently at four times basic salary, from the day they join the Company. Nominated beneficiaries can be recorded by completing the life assurance nomination form, which is originally sent to you with your contract of employment. If you would like to change your nominees at any time, please complete a life assurance nomination form and send it to HRSupportEMEA@wlt.com. Please note, Life Assurance only applies up to the age of 75 years.
Holidays
Entitlement for UK employees is 25 working days per annum, with no further increase. The holiday year runs from 1 January to 31 December
Pension
When you join the Company, you will receive a pension pack along with your contract providing you with all necessary information regarding the auto-enrolment pension scheme and enrolment procedures. The scheme operates on a contributory basis and % contributions are in line with pension auto-enrolment legislation.

Corporate Eye Care
The Company provides a corporate eye care benefit to all UK employees who work with visual display units (VDUs). VDU users are defined as employees who habitually use display screen equipment as a significant part of their normal work.
This benefit includes a full eye and eyesight test by an optometrist up to £25 and £50 towards corrective appliances where they are required solely for VDU use.
Simply go along to any opticians, have your eye test and purchase your glasses or contact lenses, keep the receipt and process via the expenses system.
Interest-free Season Ticket Loan
All permanent and fixed term contract Williams Lea UK employees can apply for an interest free season ticket loan once they have completed their probationary period, up to a maximum of £10,000.00. Referral Scheme
We are keen to encourage all employees to recommend potential future employees to Williams Lea and in recognition of this, we operate a Referral Scheme. Mobile Phones
Williams Lea operate a BYOD (bring your own device) policy. If your role requires use of a mobile phone to perform your daily tasks, your manager will approve your entitlement to a £20 monthly allowance, which will be made via payroll and subject to Tax and National Insurance deductions. This allowance can be used to source a new separate SIM to your personal phone, or you can opt to use your personal phone number for work purposes.
